Since Spencer is the star of this post I'll write a few highlights about him...
-He loves to dance. I'm surprised at how someone less than 3 feet tall can be so lurpy!
-He is starting to say more words. Some of his most frequent words are "mom", "daddy", "bah-berry" (strawberry), "nana" (banana), "no", "yesh" (yes), "ball", "wow", "hey!", "beez" (please), "tay-too" (thank-you), "shoosh" (shoes), "cackuh" (cracker), "baby", and "puppy".
-When Matt comes home at night and Spencer hears the garage opening he starts running toward the door yelling "daddy, daddy, daddy!" I think by the end of the day he's pretty bored with me and ready for some fun with his dad!
-When we look at books with animals and I ask him what a sheep or a cow say he will say "baaahhh" or "moooo" but when I ask him about any other animals he just looks at me like I'm crazy.
-When he's sad or tired he'll lay his head against me, I love it!
-I water my flower pots each morning and when I'm done he takes the empty watering can and goes from pot to pot and acts like he's watering them. He does it so seriously, like it's an important job and won't crack a smile. He must think he's a big help.
-A few nights ago he was playing in the yard with some neighbor kids and a little boy about 6 months older than Spencer threw a tantrum. Spencer pointed at him as he was being carried away by his mom crying and said, "baby!". Matt was so proud that his son already knows how to trash-talk.
