St. George
Spencer, James, and I have been in St. George for the past week and a half while Matt's parents' basement is having some plumbing and tile work done. We've been enjoying grandparents, the warm weather, haircuts all around, and lots of other fun things!

Storm Gandalf
Utah was hit with a huge snowstorm last Thursday. I left Cache Valley for Centerville right as it hit. It took me 3 hours to drive what usually takes me about an hour and a half. Matt and Spencer have been in heaven playing in all the snow!
Aunt Callie's Visit
My sister-in-law,Callie, flew out from Washington for a week and we got to spend the afternoon with her last Thursday. We miss her already!
We have a walker!
Over the past week James has started to walk a lot! I thought I'd write a little bit more about what James has been up to...
He had his first ear infection last week
He LOVES almost any food except bananas
In his perfect world I would carry him around all day letting him flip light switches
He loves to dance and will sing "da da" while he does it
He points and says "Dis! Dis!" when he wants something
He says "cheese!" when I take his picture
He cries like you just kicked him if you walk past him without picking him up
We love our little redhead to pieces and are so glad he's ours!

New Years Eve 2012
On New Years Eve we went to a little party at the Haight's (Matt's sister). I didn't get any pictures but it was sure fun!
Now that we're old with 2 kids, we left the party around 8 pm to go get the kids to bed. We tried to watch Star Wars but got a little sleepy. This is how we rang in the new year (sadly this photo was not staged):

Happy 7 Year Anniversary to Us!
Our anniversary was on December 30th. I can't believe it's been 7 years. I guess time flies when you're having fun!
We were in St. George for our anniversary so my parents tended the boys overnight while we had a little getaway. We slept in until 9 am, heavenly!

The Dimonds in Utah
Our good friends, the Dimonds, came to Utah over Christmas break. We were lucky enough to spend a night with them and some other great friends. We ate dinner at Bombay House (mmmmm!) then the girls went to TJ Maxx while the boys went to the Nike Outlet. We all met back up at Yogurtland to stuff a little more in :)
Can't wait to do it again!

Ethington Update
Well I haven't posted since June but I really do want to keep blogging, it's the only form of scrap booking I've done for about 2 years. So here's the update on our family:
1. In September last year Matt accepted a job as a financial controller at a client's company. He works on the top floor of the Wells Fargo building in downtown Salt Lake City. He is loving his new job and I am loving having him work less hours and NO MORE TRAVEL!
2. We sold our house in Smithfield! It was for sale for about 2 months and this was not a pretty time for our family. Matt commuted from Smithfield to SLC. He stayed a few nights each week at his parents' house in Centerville and even on the nights he came home he didn't get home until about 8 pm. Having our house for sale was a lot harder than I thought it would be; it was so hard for me to get the entire house and yard clean all at the same time, sometimes with very little notice. Spencer and James watched a lot of movies and ate a lot of McDonald's.
3. After we sold our house we moved into Matt's parents' basement apartment in Centerville. Yes we are 27 and 32 and living with our parents, we're awesome like that. Spencer is LOVING living at grandma's but I don't know if it has quite dawned on him that we're not ever moving back to Smithfield.
4. We found a place to build a house in North Salt Lake. We have a lot under contract and found a builder we really like. An architect is making a few changes to our house plan and then hopefully we can get building! It is only about a 15 minute drive to Matt's work so we are really excited about it!
Well that's the highlights. I'm including a few pictures from the last few months also so I can show off my cute boys :)
