The Evolution of Spencer's Costumes...

First we had the hot-dog. Cute, but uncomfortable...

Then came the lamb. Just an all-around failure...

But I think we finally got it right this year. Introducing...

Superman!!!

This little beauty is what has been taking up most of my time lately. This is the first quilt I've ever made (actually the first thing I've even sewed since 7th grade home ec. with good ol' Mrs. Lee) so it's a pretty big deal. I got the grand idea that I was going to hand quilt it instead of paying to get it machine quilted. Big mistake.
Spencer has been keeping busy doing things like playing with his girlfriend, Kate.

Building block towers in his diaper...

and having BBQs in our backyard with cousins.

Our niece, Taylor, was blessed last Sunday.

Playing with his cousins all day wore Spencer out...

But after a good night's sleep he was back to his energetic self.
