We spent Christmas in St. George with my parents again since Matt's parents are still on their mission. All the other siblings, except Blake, were away with their in-laws so it was a small group. We missed Jaren and Callie and the Moncurs but Spencer loved having grandma and grandpa all to himself!

On Christmas Eve we went and looked at Christmas lights...
Matt, Spencer, and I got new pajamas...
We went and looked at the lights at the temple. Spencer loved climbing up and down the stairs...

On Christmas morning Blake got a gift card from my parents to go skydiving, he was pretty excited...

Matt with his new skullcandy skiing helmet and pass...
Me with some of my pampered chef loot...
Spencer was pretty tired and cranky on Christmas Day. I think this is the only present that made him crack a smile (of course it was the $5 bathtub letters from Wal-Mart, not the train set that took 2 hours to put together).
When he first came down and saw his train set he just stared at it with an unimpressed look on his face. But after he woke up a little more he warmed up to it...

My mom got out this old PVC pipe tent she made when my brothers were little boys and Spencer fell in love with it. Here they are watching Toy Story 2...
And last, but not least, here are the sweet Nikes uncle Blake gave Spencer for Christmas. He didn't want to take them off all day long.

Finally!

Finally! A store that actually carries what it has in stock! If I had a nickel for every time I went to a store and a sales associate said "I'm sorry, we have that in stock but we don't have it", I'd be a rich woman.
This picture was taken at the world's largest souvenir shop in Vegas. I'll do a post about Christmas, our trip to Vegas, and our 5 year anniversary soon.

Merry Christmas!

Here is the Christmas card we sent out this year, decorated by yours truly. That's right, I can make my own Christmas cards with photoshop elements. I pretty much consider myself a graphic artist now.

And here are some pictures my mom had taken at her house by her friend, Juanita. Here are some of my favorites...

What a good lookin' family I have. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

I am a huge fan of Christmas. I like to enjoy the decorations for as long as possible, so Spencer and I decorated our Christmas tree 2 days after Thanksgiving. As you can see, Spencer was a BIG help.
Spencer likes to load 1 branch at a time. Too bad we didn't have about 500 more ornaments.

Enjoy your Holidays!

Thanksgiving 2010

This year Matt and I hosted the Sandberg family at our house. Matt and I weren't quite sure what we were doing but I think it turned out pretty good (it helped that my sister volunteered to bring about half the food).

My cute parents

Mitch and Cara

Spencer, Matt, and I

Jaren and Callie
(moving in 1 month to Washington D.C. for Jaren to do an internship, we'll miss them!)
Blake and his cute girlfriend, Tiffany
Just cooking some food. Can you believe my sister is almost halfway through her 3rd pregnancy?

Miss Marin
You may notice the cute girl in pink. She is one of Blake and Tiffany's friends, Amanda, who goes to USU and couldn't make it home to St. George because of the weather. She joined right in and was great, we were so glad to have her!
Spencer and Kate
The pie fest. We like to keep the pie to person ratio 1:1.
We had a great time, thanks to everyone who came! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving too!
