Bathtime...

So last week Spencer was being super cute in the bathtub (laughing, smiling, splashing, etc.) so I ran and grabbed my camera. This is what I got...

What the heck? What's with my kid's wierd faces? He must get it from Matt.

The New Year's Post

I Know this is a little late but I thought I'd do a quick post about our New Year's Eve. We went down to Centerville and had a Christmas/New Year's party with Matt's family at a church-house. We had a great time playing games, opening Christmas presents, and just catching up with everyone.

It was the last time in a long while that we were all going to be together (Matt's parents are leaving on a mission to South Africa soon!) so we took a family photo.
In this next one Spencer was starting to get a bit tired. He stayed up playing with cousins until about 1 am.
Spencer and his cousin, Corban, the next morning.
Brad and Becca left back to Missouri on New Year's Day, here they are posing with the babies right before they left. Too bad Spencer isn't as sweet as Gabriel (he's the nice one laying his head on Becca's shoulder).

The Christmas Post

This year we spent Christmas in St. George with my family. Matt was out of town auditing for most of December so Spencer and I went down a few weeks before Christmas and then Matt drove down the night before Christmas Eve. It was so great to get away from freezing Logan and enjoy the warmth of St. George!
Christmas Eve.
Whose snotty-nosed angry kid is that?
My mom bought the grandkids Christmas pajamas. How nice of Marin to give Spencer a hug.
Oh wait. I guess he wasn't in the mood for a hug.
This little car was Spencer's main gift from Santa. Matt had one just like it when he was a kid. When Spencer woke up in the morning and came out to my parents' living room he got right in and started moving the wheel and honking the horn. We are very relieved that he likes it, at his age you never know which toy will be a hit or a dud.

Marin got a play house and Spencer loved playing inside it with her. Here they are having a dainty little tea party, kinda girly but oh well.
We actually got a family picture with Spencer smiling! Thanks Jaren and Callie!
Christmas Day in Dixie, doesn't it look so nice and warm?!
The boys played basketball the day after Christmas. Look at that vertical, anyone jealous that's not your husband?
This next picture looks like I lost my thumb in an accident but really we just celebrated our 4-year anniversary. I think the trial period is over and our marriage just might make it.

Memories...

I know I should be blogging about Christmas (and I will, I just haven't put the pictures on our computer yet) but I'm scrapbooking today and I came across this little beauty...

Isn't he the sweetest little thing ever? (Nobody really has to answer that) Look at those chubby little legs and those perfect lips! I remember the day I took this picture, Spencer woke up early in the morning so I brought him into bed with me and he fell back to sleep. I'm so glad I took a picture!

Thanksgiving Weekend

This year we spent Thanksgiving with Matt's family in Centerville. The night before the big day I stayed up until about midnight making 2 apple pies. I don't think I've made a pie since my Foods class in high school but I didn't end up in tears so I think it was a success.
On Thursday morning we drove to Matt's parents house and the boys played football while the girls cooked the big feast with the kids (fair I know). The meal was very yummy and we had a great time with our family.

The day after Thanksgiving I worked at the hospital so Matt spent the day with Spencer and his family. They went to the Hill Air Force Museum. Spencer is the kid screaming in front.
On Friday night everyone went to see the lights at Temple Square. It was pretty cold but worth it!

We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving too!
